March 2011 Update: After a few misgivings about the snowy weather, the Scrabble Group ended 2010 with a very enjoyable lunch in the warm and friendly atmosphere of the “White Horse” in Stourpaine. All members of the group were present, plus a few husbands and friends.  Thirteen – or Twelve plus One, if you are superstitious – sat down to an excellent meal.  So we are now into a new year of happy Scrabble-playing.  

               

Summer 20010 Update: This Group meets on alternate Thursdays at my home. We usually play three or four games with a break for tea, biscuits, chat and laughter – we don’t do quiet! On intervening Thursdays, a few of us sometimes meet at the home of another member and play the 3D version of Scrabble which is called Upwords.
