German - Conversation

Dec 2010 - this group is suspended for the foreseeable future.

 

 

Activities: Reading, discussion, watching video, talking about recent events.

 

Recent activity: Reading and discussing “Wie war das eigentlich” Kindheit und Jugend im Dritten Reich.

 

”Traditional” singing of “Deutsche weihnachtslieder & gedichte” at the last meeting before Christmas.

 

To be able to hold a simple conversation in German is needed for this group.

 

 

 

Spring 2010 Update: The German Conversation Group was dissolved at the end of 2010. I have integrated most of its members into the Intermediate Group. Since the start of the New Year, we have been practising conversational skills and we are beginning to make some progress. We meet on the second and fourth Fridays of the month from 10.00 to 12.00.
